MDG Companies has completed the sale of 20 Class-A condominium units totaling 51,418 sf at the MDG Corporate Centre I at 8850 Columbia 100 Parkway in Howard County for $11,251,900, reports TriAlliance Commercial Real Estate Services.
Overlooking Maryland Route 100, the building, which features four distinct “green” roof top patio areas accessible to the owners and their employees soon will house a BB&T bank branch with double drive-through lanes. The GreystoneGrill, which opened in February, offers a fine-dining establishment catering to both lunch and dinner patrons. The restaurant, which has an open and contemporary dining room, also features a Wine Room with a state-of-the-art audio-visual system with internet capabilities for business presentations.
Medical and professional services offered by the additional condominium owners include, engineering and law firms, consulting firms, mortgage and realty brokers, CPAs; and medical specialties including gastroenterology, cardiology, internal medicine and chiropractic.
MDG Companies, a development company founded in 1977, will relocate from its current headquarters location at 5550 Sterrett Place in Columbia Town Center to the fourth floor Penthouse of the new building. Construction for MDG II, 57,524 s.f. is scheduled to be completed in June 2005.Along with Columbia 100, MDG also has developed several million square feet of office, retail, and commercial space as well award-winning office and residential projects.
